Wrestlemania 32 Predictions

Wrestlemania 32 Preview And Predictions – WWE Risking It All On Roman Reigns?

The biggest wrestling event of the year is less than a week away. Wrestlemania 32, is challenging to set an attendance record in Texas. Unfortunately like last year, the smart money is on an extremely unpopular winner – Roman Reigns.

The match lineup is underwhelming, to say the least. Missing many top-level performers through injury, WWE has been forced to call in the 46-year-old bosses son, Shane McMahon to add some intrigue to the event. The injuries to Seth Rollins, John Cena, Randy Orton, Cesaro, Neville, Luke Harper and other lesser lights have led to a predictable and confusing card. Let’s look at the matches.

The 10 Diva Tag match

Oh, Dear – some filler here for the kick-off show. How he mighty have fallen, Paige, Brie Bella, Natalya, basically the stars of the Total Divas show, vs the rest led by Lana. This will be a dull mess. There are talented performers in here, but the chances of any of them getting sufficient ring time are low. Expect a ten-minute match, one minute to shine each.

Prediction – The Total Divas Team

The Andre The Giant Battle Royal

The match to squeeze in whoever is not on the main show. This should never be on the kick-off show. We can only hope for a late bump up the roster. It provides genuine entertainment to the crowd. Big Show will be defending, but it is unlikely he will win. Hopefully, they use it to give someone a small push, although they will likely give it to Kane.

Prediction – Kane

Uso’s Vs The Dudley Boyz

Still pointless, put these four in the Andre match and save some time. The Dudleys are as entertaining and good as ever. Unfortunately, the Uso’s are now tainted by their relationship with Roman Reigns and get booed out of any arena they go to. I’m predicting the winner of this will have a bearing on the main event. If they put the Uso’s over here then Reigns is a cert to win later.

Prediction – Uso Boring.

League of Nations Vs The New Day

The tag champions get away without a title defence. One of the most insulting decisions on the card. Teams like the Harts, Demolition, LOD and modern greats Edge and Christian, Hardys and Dudleys, stole the show at previous Manias. For the titles not be defended makes them look as cheap as the new belts.

Prediction – The New Day

Kalisto Vs Ryback for US Title

Of all the titles to keep in circulation, the WWE in their wisdom keeps the US championship. Bring back the World Heavyweight belt, the TV Title or the fabled Hardcore belt. Instead, we have this sub Intercontinental belt, only made relevant by Cena in the last year. Poor Kalisto will get run over as Ryback continues his push. Why WWE?

Prediction – The Boring Big Guy Ryback

Kevin Owens (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler, Sami Zayn, The Miz, Stardust, Sin Cara, Zack Ryder Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match

This set us off last year and put the show on the right foot. Now it is looking to be an annual event, no matter what interesting storyline is in the works. This should be Zayn against Owens. They have history and are the main story. Ziggler could have joined with The New Day to even the odds since he is too good to be lost in this mess. The rest are again just filler.

Prediction – Kevin Owens Retains

Chris Jericho vs. A.J. Styles

Show stealing potential here. Jericho has been in great heel form and AJ is incredibly over from his non-WWE performances. The only problem is that we have seen this match three times already. Hopefully, there will be interference from the old members of AJ’s Bullet Club. Whose side will they be on?

Prediction Y2J – With Assistance

Charlotte (c) vs. Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks for Divas Belt

Names in a hat. Odds are Charlotte loses but to who? All three are supremely talented with Banks being the best. It could go either way and even flip back on the following night’s Raw – One to enjoy.

Prediction – Becky Lynch – For one night at least.

Brock Lesnar vs. Dean Ambrose

Best match on the card. A streetfight to rival the mid card battle HHH had with Taker a few years ago. Again any of them can win, a loss won’t damage either of their stock. Sit back and watch the blood flow.

Prediction Brock after 30 minutes

The Undertaker vs. Shane McMahon Hell In A Cell For Control Of RAW

Shane has to win, or else why was he brought back? Undertaker cannot lose clean to a McMahon. So who wins? No idea, this one has political ramifications and should be the one to produce the ‘Wrestlemania Moment’ Presumably Shane flying from the top of the cage to hopefully land safely.

Prediction – Undertaker – With Help

The Main Event – Triple H Vs Roman Reigns for the WWE Championship

It’s actually come to this. We know that Roman Reigns is the chosen one to replace Cena and we all hate it. We hate having someone forced down our throats. We want them to organically work their way up the roster. Reigns doesn’t lose clean, no sells like all the past chosen ones and gets booed by almost every crowd. Can they risk ruining the main event to give him the belt? All signs point to yes. At least with Seth Rollins fit, people knew a deserving champion had the belt. Triple H has brilliantly stepped into the breach, over the last month, he has played the heel champion to perfection as always. He will get the biggest cheer of the night and have the best entrance. Unfortunately, the ending is destined to annoy everyone unless the pull a shock like last year.

If you are betting place your bets early and watch it unfold. – Good Luck
