If like the rest of the TV obsessed world you have been missing Breaking Bad then help is finally at hand. Better Call Saul is the spinoff come prequel and sequel to the series that made Walter White and his struggles a worldwide hit.
Having watched the first episode we are in familiar yet refreshingly different surroundings. The setting and camera work are the same but the moral compass of the show is swinging wildly.
Whereas Walter started on a noble journey using illegal means, the motives of Saul or to use his real name Jimmy aren’t apparent. Without spoilers the creators keep plenty of information held back letting us join the dots at our leisure or though chat with our friends.
The episodes are available every Tuesday on Netflix and first indications are this is a Frasier type spinoff as opposed to a Joey.
